Dial-A-Doctor launched Telehealth on Monday 23rd March 2020 to allow patients to receive quality after-hours health care via video or phone.
With the current COVID-19 pandemic, some symptoms will no longer be appropriate for home visit services. If you have symptoms and/or travel history that make you a probable/suspected case of COVID-19, you may be offered a video or telephone consultation.
Dial-A-Doctor has dedicated GPs to help you and your family receive after-hours healthcare still in the comfort of your own home via Telehealth.
Our Telehealth service is bulk billed for eligible patients and we are able to provide scripts and medical certificates if required.
If you book a telephone consultation with our Telehealth doctor, you will be given a 2 hour wait time and the doctor will contact via your chosen phone number on a private number.
If you book a video consultation, you will be sent a calendar invite with a unique and secure link to our video conferencing platform. At the time of booking, you will be given a 2 hour wait time and will receive a phone call from the doctor on a private number a few minutes before your video consultation to ensure that you are ready.
